Simple Sunday French Toast for your Mama!

This is my very simple recipe for French toast. It’s low in points, cooks up quickly and doesn’t require any fancy ingredients.

Simple Sunday French Toast (4pts per serving, 1 serving)Food - French Toast 007

Ingredients

1 Egg
1 Egg White
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Light Vanilla Soy Milk
2 slices Light Wheat Bread

Instructions

Whisk together first five ingredients in large dish. Heat skillet to med-high heat.

Let 2 bread slices soak for about 1 minute per side. Spray heated skillet with cooking spray. Cook soaked bread slices about 2 minutes per side or until done. Place on a plate and drizzle with sugar free maple syrup.

Simple. Easy. Delicious.

If you’re reading this on the Pacific coast this morning, go cook your Mama breakfast! It is Mother’s Day after all. Of course if you’re on the East Coast you could still pull of brunch! :)

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you Moms out there (Moms of human children and fur children, I totally count both!) and a special Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom who is my rock. Enough said.

French toast with vanilla soy milk sounds great. I'll give it a try. Hope you and your mom have a great Mother's Day!
